Day 1
Leh - Rest in hotel
For your first day in Leh, Ladakh, it's important to rest and acclimatize due to the high altitude (around 3,500m or 11,500ft).
Day 2:
Leh - Sight seeing

Today’s journey takes you back to Leh from Hanle, covering some of Ladakh’s iconic cultural and educational landmarks along the way.
Drive from Hanle to Leh:
- A long but scenic drive through the Changthang region, with vast landscapes and occasional wildlife sightings.
- Enjoy the changing terrain as you descend towards Leh.
Sightseeing En Route:
- Thiksey Monastery – One of Ladakh’s most beautiful monasteries, resembling Tibet’s Potala Palace. It houses a magnificent Maitreya Buddha statue and offers panoramic valley views.
- Rancho School (Druk Padma Karpo School) – Famous from the movie 3 Idiots, this school showcases Ladakh’s unique education system and sustainable architecture.
- Shey Palace – A historic palace with a golden Buddha statue and stunning views of the Indus Valley. It was once the summer capital of Ladakh.
Arrival in Leh:

Transfer to Leh Airport:
